Dear All,
I’m pleased to announce that the English Open will be held at the Dorset Hotel, Ryde, Isle of Wight, from Monday 17th to Friday 21st April next year. This is the week after Easter week.

Playing sessions will be in the morning and afternoon as usual and games will be on the 3-move restriction. Depending on the number of entries the event will be held either on the Swiss System or as an all-play-all.

The entry fee is £40 and there is a guaranteed prize fund of £1000.

Michael Baker, the hotel manager, is reserving several rooms for players. He has very kindly been looking after the EDA playing equipment since the scheduled British
Open for 2020 had to be cancelled owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
